Zinc base alloys are the easiest to cast. Ductility is high and impact strength is excellent. Its excellent surface smoothness makes easily platable. Zinc is economical for small parts, has a low melting point and prompts long die life. Alloys available: ZAMAK #3 ZAMAK #5
